        Agreement: By downloading, accessing, or using H2A Compass, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
    

1. Description of Service

H2A Compass is a mobile application providing educational information about the H-2A Temporary Agricultural Worker program. The app includes:

Educational content about H-2A regulations and requirements
Compliance calculators and tools
Filing deadline calendar management
Document translation services
AI-powered Q&A assistant and compliance tools
Push notifications for regulatory updates
Optional user accounts for premium subscription access

2. Subscription Terms

H2A Compass offers a monthly subscription plan to access premium features:

Price: $4.99 per month (USD)
Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
No Refunds: Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple or Google as applicable to your purchase
Free Features: Core educational content, the emergency contacts directory, glossary, and basic tools remain free without a subscription

3. User Accounts

Creating an account is optional. An account is only required to access premium content via our servers (e.g., if you redeem a promo code or lifetime access code). App Store subscribers do not need an account.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
Accurate Information: You agree to provide a valid email address and keep your account information accurate
Password Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account
One Account Per Person: Accounts are for individual use only. Sharing your account credentials with others is not permitted
Session Limits: By default, your account may be active on 1 device at a time. Logging in on a new device will end the oldest active session
Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Educational Information Disclaimer

The information provided in H2A Compass is for educational purposes only and should not be considered legal advice. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information based on public U.S. federal agency sources:

This app does NOT provide legal, immigration, or professional advice
Information may become outdated as regulations change
Always consult qualified legal professionals for specific situations
The developers are not responsible for decisions made based on app content

5. Use of H-2A Compliance Advisor

The H-2A Compliance Advisor and other AI-powered tools provide responses based on a vetted knowledge base of H-2A regulations. The AI:

Answers questions using only verified H-2A information sources
May occasionally provide incomplete or outdated information
Should not replace professional legal or immigration counsel
Is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy
Queries are subject to a daily usage limit per device to ensure fair access

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
Share your subscription or account access with others
Use automated systems to access the app's services
Create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription requirements
Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information. Key points:

H2A Compass is local-first, but signed-in synchronization, calendars, and Document Vault features may store records or uploaded files on our servers
If you create an optional account, your email address, hashed password, sessions, synchronized feature data, and related service records may be stored on our servers
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties
You may request deletion of your account and all associated server data by contacting us

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of H2A Compass are the exclusive property of the app developers and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of H2A Compass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the app.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Material changes will be communicated within the app.
